Make THIS Your New First Choice!
I can’t emphasize this enough… this is NOT massage!
Results and corrections with the Bowen and Emmett Techniques are happening very quickly for clients who have been dealing with pain issues for years!
I am seeing and hearing a similar story from clients again and again. The basic story is that the client has had an issue or problem for a while; doctors have run tests, done x-rays, MRI’s, etc.; clients have gone through physical therapy programs (often for 12-24 sessions) but the problem is still there. Doctors are then telling the client that they don’t know what else to do, and in some cases may even be recommending surgery.
Within one to three sessions I have been seeing lasting results for these clients. Their comments have been very similar too, like “I’m not sure what it is that you did but the pain is gone (or at least significantly reduced)”.
You can read their full story by clicking on their name (as they are posted), but a couple of examples include:
Wendy was dealing with shoulder and neck issues from a snow mobile accident in the 70’s. During her second visit she told me that I had done something for her neck that no one else has been able to do. Months later she is still feeling great relief!
Al ended up with extreme restrictions in his shoulder after a pretty severe break in the elbow. He did months of physical therapy with very little improvement. After his second session his shoulder movement was restored.
Val had been dealing with post knee-replacement pain/discomfort for about 2 years. After one session she went the first week without pain.
Melissa is a dancer and has been for most of her life. She had been dealing with intense anterior, bi-lateral (both) hip pain for over 15 years. Within 2 sessions the pain was greatly reduced.
Kevin had a shoulder surgery about 1 year ago and has had pain and restrictions in use and movement ever since. After the first 2 sessions he felt significantly reduced pain and an increase in movement.
Nancy was diagnosed with arthritis in her foot and had pretty constant pain, especially when walking. Her doctor was talking to her about doing a fusion surgery. After one visit, she has not had any pain in that foot for over a month.
I am also hearing about some amazing, unexpected positive “side effects”.
Ann came to see me with pain in the upper back, neck and shoulder. By visit three she still had some tightness in the neck but was feeling pretty good overall. Ann also mentioned to me on her third visit that although she had been using her asthma inhaler at least once a day for the past 3 to 4 months prior to her first visit, she had not had to use it at all during the past three weeks between visits. I had not done anything specific to address the asthma but both of us were excited to notice this change.
I’ve heard from a number of clients that after doing things like working around the yard or other physical labor, they are realizing that they are not getting as sore as they had in the past.
Clients say they are able to turn their head easier, especially when driving.
Balance has improved; Sleep is better after treatments; Reduced pain from Fibromyalgia; Post-Concussion Syndrome symptoms improved… And, I’m sure I’m missing a thing or two.
The bottom line is that there is a reason for these results and it is not anything crazy or magic. I believe it comes down to a couple of easily explainable things.
The first is finding the root cause through assessment and correcting that! The pain does not always show up where the problem is so assessment helps to locate the sourse.
Second is getting the whole body back into balance and structural alignment. This is done by using gentle, soft-tissue moves, and not physical adjustments. A body in balance allows everything to function properly.
Also, muscle is often the biggest and most overlooked cause, and it’s not just about stretching or strengthening. Often the brain-muscle communication is not working properly (neuromuscular). This needs to be corrected before any exercise will be beneficial.
These are the things that the Bowen and Emmett techniques address.
So, as my practice has made an amazing transition from medical massage into these unique, effective techniques that can help with a wide variety of pain and health issues, I would like to remind you to think of the Bowen and Emmett techniques through Restore Muscle Health, not just when you feel like you need a massage, but as your new first choice for pain and health issues.
Whether it’s chronic muscle or joint issues, acute injury from a slip and fall, sprained ankle, post exercise strain, or issues like asthma, allergies, migraines, acid reflux, etc. (just ask) this may be the quick, natural, drug and surgery free answer you have been looking for.
Results vary. Immediate relief does not happen with all clients, but most experience noticeable change within one to three sessions.
